Im looking for a 2-4 computer KVM switch and I want to know whats a good brand, although something that wont break the bank. I run one of my monitors at 1280x1024@85 so i need something with decent quality. Thanks.

well.. the simple mechanical KVM switch is probably out of the question, since those tends to have lots of interference with your video signal. You can probably try the KVM made by Belkin, but those
aren't that cheap either.

I've seen a 4-box USB KVM for $100 or so lately. I could never find decent manufacturer info on it. IOgear makes a 2-port USB that sells for $90 or so.

Question,
I have a Misubishi 900u monitor with both D-Sub and BNC connectors. If I used D-sub from one PC and BNC from the other, and a mechanical KVM for just Mouse and Keyboard, how well would that work?

IOGear makes a 4 port ps2 KVM switch for around $100 with all the cables included...search for it at pricescan.com I don't know the max resolution... I think tigerdirect.com has it(rating is low)..
but for that price you can live with a little less resolution (if it doesnt support 1280x1024)
