Which kind of liquor doesn't agree with you?

I like mixed drinks the most. Jack & coke, Long Island ice tea, Margareta, White Russian etc, etc. But vodka & tequila I can't stand. Or Schnapps! Brandy is alright.

I'm pretty much a mild drinker anymore. I bought a bottle of Evan Williams and it lasted about three months. Although, I can now taste a difference between Evan Williams and Jack.

I try to avoid rum. It tends to make me very angry if you mess with me.
I have imbibed very little rum indeed. I bought a bottle of it when I was going to the university and one night as an experiment I drank quite a few rum and cokes and got violently ill. I have steered away from rum ever since. I have certainly never had another rum and coke!

I really do like Kahlua and milk over ice. Bailey's Irish Cream is delicious but that stuff is high calorie, I don't buy it.

Jägermeister... that is kryptonite to my normally cast iron stomach.

If vodka tastes bad you're getting incredibly cheap horrible stuff or you're an alien...

....

Vodka, cause it tastes like shit, and ruins everything it's put in. That, or MrBoston ginger brandy. Not sure why that exists. It was called for in a recipe for thanksgiving punch my daughter wanted to make. Glad I tasted it before I ruined everything else with it. It tastes like cough medicine, but not as good D^:

Unless you buy a good vodka and drink it neat.

I've never been a fan of Tequila, maybe if I tried a good one.

Usually I take my liquor neat, and drink ice water with it, that seems to keep me out of trouble.

As highly regarded as Drambuie seems to be, it is one liquor I have never cared for personally. And I do like scotch.

That and about anything melon flavored I guess.

MD 20/20 with Everclear shots.

That shit gets real, real fast.

Getting anywhere near Mad Dog and Everclear is just asking for major pain in your near future.

One of those life lessons I learned myself in the distant past.

All of it, just makes me sleepy and they cost too much money. I can get to sleep for free, so I don't drink anything with alcohol in it.

I try to stay away from tequila. Last time I remember drinking tequila was at a party where I was wearing jeans. I woke up wearing shorts. No idea what happened in the interim.

If you're talking about something that makes me sick immediately... nothing i've tried so far.

If you mean just by the taste... several things i stay away from, Jägermeister being at the top of my list of things i know i don't like. But there's a lot i haven't tried too.

My mainstays are beer, vodka & whiskey.

Any thing with shit loads of sugar in, getting drunk on that is just asking for a trepanning in the morning.
Anything with an umbrella and fruit in. Trust me here, you'll regret it after 3.

And whisky (or whiskey), that shit is just the distilled gloom and misery of a damp and dark country.

Tequila for me too. I'm normally a happy go lucky drunk, not so much after a night out with the worm.

Flavored liquors like schnapps or Fireball. I mean, I can drink them just fine, but if I ever find myself in such a situation where I'm compelled to drink flavored booze, it just makes me question the choices I've made to arrive at such a depressing place. With so many excellent alcoholic beverage options available, something that tastes like artificially-flavored candy has absolutely no appeal whatsoever.

I'm also not big on vodka; what on Earth is the point of a spirit where the goal is to not taste like anything at all? I drink boozy drinks because they have a unique taste that is unavailable in soft drinks; there's nothing alcohol-free which tastes like a fine whiskey. You know what tastes EXACTLY like a vodka drink? Whatever the fuck you mix it with. It offers nothing except alcohol, and I'm not nearly enough of an alcoholic to want to get drunk without tasting anything.

I like a Pisco Sour or a Caipirinha, but pisco or cachaça on their own are pretty vile. And they really aren't used for anything outside of those drinks, so if you end up with a bottle, you're going to get bored of your options with 3/4 of the bottle left. You'll still get some good drinks out of it, but it lacks variety.
