Which is the better Motherboard?

Yes, the MSI is a great board and Abit's not a good company to have to deal with if anything goes wrong, trust me.

Surprising to see Chad, who use to be an Abit partial, turn his back on Abit. I would also recommend the MSI.

MSI, they are supposedly the most stable boards. My dad has a MSI k7t pro 2 a and its very stable, but he doesn't do much with it so... Also I have heard a lot bad things about abit boards.

AMD took Abit off their approved motherboard list. I would take the MSI even though I have a Abit. I made a bad choice. I should've gotten the ASUS.

What about the IWill KK266? Doesn't anyone recommend it anymore?
Btw, what's the URL of AMD recommended motherboards?

That's because I recently had to deal with them. Do a search on my name and look at the crap Abit made me go through.

I should oif listened to you way back when. 😉

I read your thread, and I really felt bad for you, the talk about Abit'st 10 day turn around all look bogus to me now.

If I were you I would get the Abit board, there the best boards I have ever used never have I had a problem with them....

Beware,......not all Raid mb's are capable of the same Raid features,..... do your research first if the Raid features are important to you!

MSI...seems to be more stable, it's cheaper, and offers nearly all the tweak options abit does, minus a couple...
