Is it a SPAMBOT using a public poll so that it can havest user id names, for subsequent PMing them, so that it can harvest e-mail addresses etc ?

Why is it making its posts in blocks of 3 at the same time ?
Then again, exactly 25 hours later.

It seems to be completely ignoring anything we say, most of the time.

http://forums.anandtech.com/search.php?searchid=1615319

currently says :-
9:43AM + 9:44AM x 2 = 3 posts
and
8:43 AM x 3 = 3 posts

Which one is the best choice ?

which is the best one ?

The messages are exactly 25 hours apart, in 3 different threads.
That smacks of automated scripts to me, or someone messing about on purpose.

N.B. Some/all of these polls have appeared on other forums as well.

Maybe I am wrong. I was only saying maybe, anyway, not definitely.

Why have so many forums got this ****WHATEVER**** on them ?

Example

How many EXAMPLES does anyone want

More

And of course our own forums copy

I am amazed at how many forums/threads have been made around the internet.

Typical thing "it" says :-

I do not speak English well I'm from Arab country what I can do
For this reason relied on Google in translation and relied on polls
Please help me and vote

If anyone tries to search this *****WHATEVER**** on the internet, I've seen lots of different forum names used. They mostly seem to have been deleted or I can't access them for some reason (but google cache DOES).

EDIT: There are so many, on so many forums, I am wondering if it is some kind of business survey/advertising or something ?

I am wondering why the user and originating IP address is not banned. Any kind of automated content generation on a reputable message board should not be allowed.

Skynet is speccing out its next upgrade.

I'm just not 100% convinced that this is a perfectly normal poster, asking genuine question(s).

Saying "no speake any englishco"

Is a suspicious way for an automated script thingy to reply to stuff.

From a too extensive research into this thingy by me (on many other forums), it seems to give piped responses, such as "Bump", "thanks", "vote" and such.
But the responses do not seem to be related to what people are saying.

Occasionally there did seem to be someone saying stuff, but much of the rest seems to be scripted, and is identical (or obvious rewriting to try to hide the script) to what is posted on other forums.
