He clearly stated that he was going to try to get a refund. I think that totally pissed some people off because oit was
his idiotic mistake.

None of these manufacturers make boards that will stand having water dumped on them while they are plugged in!!!

Good god u people r insatiable! I have never seen a group of people so intent on degrading someone for making a mistake. It's as if no one here is a human being, and capable of error. Don't have any experience with Intel boards in particular, but here's my generic thoughts on the Taiwanese manufacturers in general:

If you don't mind spending $50 more than a competitor's comparable offering, go with the Asus.

If you want superb stability at the cost of modest (at best) to non-existent (more common) overclocking ability, go with the Gigabyte.

If you want a board that's pretty good at everything, but best-in-class in nothing, get the Soyo.

If you want a board that's has the same characteristics as the Soyo, but costs less and depreciates faster, get the MSI.

If you love taking chances, go with the Epox, but dayum does she overclock when you get a good one.
