I'm going towards a Lite-On or an Asus but any suggestion would be appreciated.

Compatibility with 100 min. CDR and the posibility to backup all my games are the main features i'm looking for.

Thanks.

Edit: Also, which is the best DVD? I've read that Lite-On's are really good, too

I don't know about Lite-On, but I can get the LG 52x24x52 here at work for about 50 bucks canadian, so that strikes me as a pretty sweet deal, and from what I've seen the drive is awesome, too. There is also a 16x48x24x48 DVD-reader/CDRW combo drive that's pretty nice as well.

I just get the cheapest available at the time because even though it'll be able to write at 52x, many CD's don't go past 16x or 32x. Just go whatever is available at a good price IMO...

I'll finally get a Lite-On. Seems to be the best and they're very cheap also.

Thanks for the advice.

If want quality, Plextor. Much more media friendly and dont sound like rocket ships while burning. Otherwise, goto bestbuy or office max and get a lite-on varient for less than $10 :D

I have the Asus brand CDRW repackaged as a OfficeMax Verbatim CDRW burner. It burns great but it takes a long time to read my other disks.

Go with Lite-On.
