I am looking for a good case for under 85 dollars( not including shipping) that is good for the following system

Athlon 1000mhz ( 266 mhz)
128 NON-ECC PC2100
FIC AD11
Radeon 64mb VIVO
60gb Maxtor 7200 rpm drive

I want a good case that has enough room for some fans, because I want my PC to be nice and cool ;) . Anyone know of one that fits my specs?

The Antec sx830 or sx1030 are both pretty nice. They both come standard with 2 exhuast fans and spaces for 2 more intake fans all 80mm and it has a 300watt amd approved p/s. www.onvia.com use to have them for $80-$90 with free shipping. I have no idea if they are still doing that or not.

this link shows both of them

dcpsoguy, I've recently built a couple of systems for friends, and we used the Enlight 7237 w/ 300w p.s., from MWave for $62.

i love my SX830, no hassles and it's a great price(especially for living in Canada, most parts cost and arm and a leg ;))

Thanks,guys, for the suggestions.

Yeah, JeffH, I am heavily considering getting an Enlight 7237 from Mwave. Will this case keep my system cool?

dcpsoguy, the Enlight 7237 comes w/ an 80mm fan mounted in a housing in the bottom front of the case. Additionally it has a mount for another 80mm fan just below the p.s., on the upper back of the case. One of the systems I built was an IWill KK266 and an Athlon 1.2G 266MHz. In that system we installed an Enermax 80mm Thermal Control Fan from Plycon, as well as a Taisol Cu bottom HSF.

This was the first Athlon system I've built (this is not a business of mine, I simply help friends out), and it runs a lot cooler than I anticipated.

The Antec SX830 is probably your best bet.

The Enlight 7237 is ubiquitous and simply OK...but it IS cheap.
