Which is the best 17" LCD out of these 3 16ms Panels?

Yep. When buying LCDs go somewhere that has a guaranteed return policy, the only online one I'm aware of is Dell. If you go to a retail store, ask them to plug it in for you, and open up MSWord to check for dead pixels. If there is one, ask for another monitor. If they refuse, say "OK thanks never mind, I'll go to another store that will." That method is quite effective 😉
 
Just a FYI, the Hitachi and NEC screens are exactly the same. It's mentioned on Tomshardware, so its a matter of taste as to whether you want the NEC or the Hitachi.
