I'm still working to quiet my PC as much as possible, & now I'm looking for the quietest fans possible. I'll be using one in my PSU, & possibly one as a front-intake. I'm not terribly concerned with the flow volume, noise level (or lack thereof) is paramount.

Which of these two brands is quieter?

And where the heck can I buy them?

hmmm... out of the 2, i believe papst fans are quieter, but are more expensive and harder to find... one place that should have papsts is arrowelectronics.com

Panaflo's are also pretty darn quiet and you can get them at www.teamawe.com

Hello, I am planning on upgrading my system with low noise as the highest priority. I'm debating whether or not to use an overclocked cpu because of the extra cooling needs. I was wondering, could I buy an Alpha PAL 6035 and put a Panaflo fan inside it? Would this be a quiet but powerful solution for overclocking. I'm thinking of getting and Athlon (overclocked to 1.2) or Duron(overclocked to 1000) for my system.

Here's the rest of my planned system specs:

Polaris II Midtower
Enermax PS
Panaflo case fan
