#2 simply by including the SO. At least nerd in #1 knew to keep it in the nerdspectrum.

Since BSG went off the air in what 1979? I'm somewhat surprised by it's cult following.

Precisely.

Is this a joke? Are you seriously not aware that Sci-Fi channel has been showing a remake of the show since 2004 (it ended this year)? I'm picking up absolutely no sarcasm in your post, and it bothers me.

There was that weird sequel with the kid and the old man running the ship from overly tall chairs but I found the kid to be exceptionally annoying so I didn't watch that one much.

If a man is walking through a forest and speaks but no woman is around to hear him, is he still wrong? :)

Ha! Thank you all for your votes so far.

I asked my husband today who his favorite star trek captain was, and he wouldn't even answer because he thought it was so nerdy.... despite the fact that he's seen every star trek episode and movie ever made! I said that his BSG behavior online was much nerdier.

Maybe he should post a poll where ever it is that he posts the BSG analysis. But you've effectively asked 165 people nerdy/geeky enough to be posting in the OT section of a tech forum which is nerdier, and it's 88% to 12%...
