You tell me what's nerdier -

Taking out your foe with a two handed vorpel sword, rolling a critical strike, and beheading him.

Or

Pulling out your phaser setting it to stun, and then having them "beamed" over to a holding cell.

Which ever one you pick, just think of what has influenced the world the most.

Hmm D&D, it's influenced kids to go kill people because they think they are evil monsters.

How many of you have Cell phones. If it wasn't for Star Trek, they probably wouldn't exist. Many, many technologies created for Star Trek have become reality or are being worked on by NASA.

The cell phone is a copy of the original communicator.
Transporters are being developed and proven in the labs right now.
WARP theory is a real theory, with feasible potential.
Phasers are on their way.
The U.S. Military is researching the BioBed.
And John F. Kennedy probably would have never thought to have put a man on the moon, if it weren't for Star Trek.

BTW. I am a nerd.

D&D is a lot nerdier. Its still pretty cool. Star Trek would be pretty cool.. But all the Trekkies make it seem nerdy.

(this thread is the nerdiest :confused;)
