Which is more precise - suicide bomber or homicide bomber?

To me, homicide bomber seems to be a redundant term. Don't all bombers try to kill people? These bombers are unique because they also kill themselves.

<< Some bombers just like to destroy objects. >>

Yes, but we usually don't call them bombers. They are normally classified as arsonists.

<< "Homocide bombers"? Yep, let's kill all the homos...

(FYI it's spelled "homicide")
>>

thanks for the spell check. with posts like that i'm surprised you aren't elite yet 😉 J/K

Pffbbtbtbftb! (sticks tongue out at you and gives you big raspberry)

Actually, I think "homicide bomber" is simply an effort at propaganda (even if it's as technically accurate as the term "suicide bomber"). Of course, personally, I feel that organizations (and the people who comprise them) that sanction this tactic automatically lose their basic right to be treated as human beings.

I believe the actual term is [Politically Correctness] misunderstood individuals with life issues that are the result of some childhood abuse and it's not really their fault[/Politically Correctness].

Or [reality]f*ckers[/reality].

As I posted in this thread, in which the subject came up:

<< I don't understand the term homocide bombing -- it's redundant. You don't bomb something without the intent to kill others, i.e. to commit homocide. So it doesn't make sense to add the modifier 'homocide' to 'bombing'. However, it is normal for people to bomb others without killing themselves. Therefore 'suicide' is an acceptable modifier to 'bombing', and is in fact necessary to describe the situation we have in the Middle East, in which people are killing themselves while bombing others. Virtually every bombing in history is a 'homocide bombing' -- one committed with the intent of killing others. This 'homocide bombing' crap is just useless spin to propagate the feeling of victimhood. >>
