Which is more healthy?

A. Eat 10 extra grams of fat a day for 4 days in a week

B. Eat 40 extra grams of fat a day once a week

I realize neither is healthy, just wondering if one is worse for you than the other.

I would guess that A would be healthier, as you have more opportunity to work off the excess fat (if that's even how it works.)

Depends if you exercise or not, and what you goals are. Not to mention the g's you mentioned really are not a lot.

I exercise regularly. But I'm trying to figure out if its better for me to pig out on ice cream once a week, or eat some everyday. My goal is to not get fat...

How about not eating ice cream? Try some low-fat/low-sugar sherbert or yogurt as a daily snack.

I think the more you eat at once, the lower the percentage of it that your body absorbs... but on the other hand, eating raises your metabolism.

Well, I like brunettes, but my red-headed wife doesn't. So, if I want to stay married, I leave them alone.

Life is often about sacrifices. :p

If that is the case, then once a week definitely. And, it is not just the fat that you need to worry about when exercising or training.

True...but I'm not fat so I don't have to make sacrifices with my food (yet).

well lets say typical ice cream has 10g of fat and 20g of sugar. Both of these are probably on the low end, but good estimates, IMO.

40g of fat isn't TOO bad, but I'd be more worried about the 80g of sugar. That's a crapload and if you don't burn it off, then that's just gonna turn to fat.

In conclusion, healthier to just have a bit of ice cream daily rather than all at once. Though really, it's your body and your decision.

40/4. More consistency. Think of it like this...you've got 4 litres of milk and you have a choice; drink it all at once or over 4 hours. Don't overload your body. ;)

No, no it is not. One day cheating (if you aren't dedicated to training etc) is fine. Many incorporate a once a week cheat day. There are plenty of reasons for only doing it for one day, but without more info on what the OP is doing for exercise and his body stats, I cannot tailor the reasons to him, and thus the list would be too long.

I like to eat frozen fruit (peaches, strawberries, etc..) as an alternate to ice cream, give it a try :)
