Which is more difficult. FTL or crossing parallel dimensions?

Will man first set foot on another planet in another solar system or will man first set foot in an alternate universe?

What the hell kind of question is that? You might as well ask if god exists. We're so far from either, that speculation is pointless.

I would say FTL, simply because it is something that is now measurable, and theoretical near-solutions (slightly-less than light speed) exist, although highly improbable.

There is no hard conclusive evidence, as far as I know, that parallel dimensions exist, ....if I am not mistaken. It is all hard theory, correct? Though I believe Quantum Mechanics essentially "require" the existence of parallel dimensions?

Lightspeed isn't a constant and alternate dimensions don't make sense from the beginning.

FTL is much harder. I hear for another dimension you just need to fly into a black hole. Call it the ultimate leap of faith.
Let's look at sci-fi, for FTL you need a ship or some ancient alien tech, but for other dimensions you just need a simple remote.

I must say, this is the best explanation yet.
