Time Warps™ were a feature of a the dying FuseTalk, and it often worked to thwart spammers and neffers.

WTF, I posted this using quick reply "I probably use quick reply about 70% of the time so I vote %" and it posted correctly. 😕

It's not just %. It happens with a myriad of symbols, such as bullet points and the pound (currency) symbol. I voted % bug, especially since it can get really annoying to read a post that has the bug code spewed all over.

It's part of our plan to train your minds. At first, you were seeing % After a while, your brain correctly interpreted it as "oh, there's a percent sign." At this rate, in about 5 years you'll be looking at !@(*&((*!P23-@#(29*@(*&$^$^Q and say to yourself, "wow, that blonde is pretty cute."

Whatever you do, please make sure our new coding is reasonably efficient efficient..

Everyone's layers will be flattened and thus converted to a node. There will be no code!

Use pct instead.

Or just add a zero and use ‰.
