which is higher? a straight from Ace to Five vs Nine to King?

i thought Ace to Five was higher because Ace cannot be connected by Kings, thus it's harder to get than any other straight that can be connected both ways in the middle (but cannot be beaten by Ace to 10....)

depends on the house rules.......... but generally a-5 is lowest you can get.

usually dont play ace-5 straights. that doesnt work.
