My car has between 400 and 420 depending on what you believe the RWD drivetrain loss is. No, my IQ isn't that high.

Damn what do you have?

1991 300ZX Twin Turbo (hence the screenname, 91TTZ)

With 275 RWHP and assuming 10% drivetrain loss the car's making 302.5 hp at the crank which is just a hair under double my IQ. That's the 951 of course.

You might want to sell that drivetrain since it's gotta be the most efficient drivetrain ever. 😉 (10% is extremely optimistic, a manual rwd car is usually 15%-18%)

That's not stock hp is it?

No, 2004 Chevery 2500 HD Diesel with a cold air intake, aftermarket torque converter and a Bulldog Chippy.

Me and my dad are thinkin about going with the new Banks system: another turbo, different chip, cold air intake, 4" straight exhaust, and some other stuff. It would be a very nice setup with 700hp and 1000lb torque, but I dont think its out yet. Would probably have to change the tranny, suspension, and completely new set of rims/tires to handle the power.

Edit: The truck is a work-horse, so I wouldnt want to change the suspension and tranny because they are set-up to tow (stock) 16000 and haul 9200. I expect the number to be a bit higher since of the chip, but I havent tried towing anything over 9 tons. Tires would be easy enough to change when I want to have fun.

Well actually, Diesels get good mpg. On a full tank of gas, I towed a 5 ton trailer for about 1/3 of the tank, and drove highway the rest of the tank and managed 16mpg, so Id figure about 20+ mpg on hw. And its a blast to drive in the rain seeing how theres no ESC system when you lock the tranny in first gear, you end up spinning the tires no matter what (except idle) and fishtailing ever turn 🙂
