Which is better to get...

Hi,

I?ve been working on a mod for a while and everything is almost done.

All that?s left is to pick the lighting, fan controller, case fan's and Perspex.

I'm in South Africa so getting my parts is kind of hard.

Any way I was thinking of these parts:

Thermaltake A2140 Xcontroller

Thermaltake A1717 Case Light

Cooler Master Silent LED Case Fan - 120mm - Red

OR

Thermaltake A1927 Thunderblade 120mm Case Fan - Red

That last fan is from a company (www.sybaritic.co.za)I have not purchased from but I have purchased from (www.take2.co.za) before.

Also my theme is Black and RED.

If any of you have any suggestions, e.g. you would change one part for another I?d appreciate it.

Hi,

I did some reading and I think I'm going to pick the Cooler Master fan, because most people said that the Thermaltake Fan made a lot of noise.

So is there any other better fan, fan controller or case Light you guys think I should get instead of those parts I listed?

Fan controller - I picked up that thermaltake to try it out, it's very poorly made. If you can find a Sunbeam Rheobus that would be a good, inexpensive alternative. Looks like they have the Zalman ZM-MFC1 at that Sybaritic store, more expensive but a good controller. Even more expensive, the Zalman ZM-MFC2 is a great choice.

Lighting - no idea.

Fan - Go for the coolermaster.

Thanks for the heads up about that fan controller.

The Sunbeam Rheobus was my first choice but I couldn?t find it, I guess I have to look a little bit deeper.

There?s just one thing that I find very strange, it?s that the red Cooler Master fan costs more then the blue fan.

Does anyone have any ideas why that is?

Also as a heads up on my project, I picked up the Perspex yesterday and it looks really good,?now I just have to decide which one to use.

Now back to the topic, is there any fans that are good from those places but they need to be red.

Coolermaster LED fans are some of the better quality LED fans out there. Yate Loon makes some but they're hard to find, don't know where in SA you could track those down. The Antecs are ok but may as well get the CMs.
