Im thinking about buying a Viewsonic V35 and it comes with PocketPC 2002. Would it be worth it to find out if I can get version 2003? How much better, more stable, compatible, anything is it?

Thanks everyone! :)

The only things I've read about it was the stuff on Microsoft's website and from that it didnt look like it was that much of an upgrade, mainly visual stuff (like cleartype support) and updated office applications.

Windows Mobile 2003 (PPC2003) is a little speedier because the OS was written for XScale processors.

It looks like it might also be easier for wireless networks, of which I am considering...

Quite a lot of difference, "under the hood".

Most of the latest PPC units are based on the Intel Xscale 250 or 255 processor, which is an ARM-5 CPU. MS-PPC 2002 is optimised for ARM-4 and not ARM-5, which results in poor performance. MS-PPC 2003 is designed to run on ARM-5 CPUs, so there is a huge performance difference; nearly double in some cases.
