which is better?? memory question

a 512mb pc3500
or 2 sticks of 512mb pc2700??

basicly whihc is better smaller but faster ram or bigger and slower ram?

planning to do alot of graphics and 3d rendering and hihg-end gaming
planning to overclock a 2.4b c1

twice as much RAM will be a lot better then slightly faster, besdies you won't get a FSB to match the PC3500 anyway.

That is correct BUT it is a Lot Easier to OC a sys with 1 stick or ram then a sys with 2 stick

for your purpose especially, i woudl get 1024mb of ram (graphics and 3d rendering can eat ram like crazy )

besides with pc2700 its rated to atleast 166, so until 166fsb you are good to go
if its brandname (samsung, corsair, mushkin, crucial, micron) it will most likly go a bit past 166 (abit depends on every stick)
