Which is a better deal for a 8x4x32x Computer Geeks Arctec $109.00+tax
or the Sony Sony 8x4x32x?
Anyone have any experience with the Arctec versus the Sony?
As far as RMA, I live closer to Arctec than Sony..?

Get the Plextor 32/8/4 instead. A much better brand and drive

i think the sony one is better since u can write text on your audio cd, which is a neat feature to have. i dont own either one of the burners.imho, i like sony better.

i have the sony one, and i love it. it works great and i have not burned a coaster yet. everyone raves about how great HP cd writers are, and all HP is is a re-badged sony drive. mine works great with CloneCD and Nero.

Get the Sony. CloneCD wont work with all drives. The Sony is fully supported. I just ordered one.
