Which is a better brand? Maxent or AOC

Planning to buy a plasma at Costco.com so I'm not too worried about brand name since Costco has an excellent return policy. Has anyone dealt with either of these brands before.
They are both $1K.

Just ordered the Gears of War Bundle through Costco so I'm finding a TV to play on.

I had an AOC back in my CRT days. I wasn't very good. Never heard of the other one.

Actually I believe the PX-42XP10 Model uses Panasonic glass, while the MX-42HPM20 model uses LG glass.

I was just in BestBuy and looked at the MX-42HPM20 and thought it look very good up against the other, higher priced TVs. After reading some reviews I'm probably going to be picking one up here in the next week or so.

A friend of mine got a 50" Maxent plasma from BB more than a year ago. Its a great screen and he's been very happy with it.
