between those two, aim, if youre looking for versitility go trillian, i use aim because all of my friends are on that

i think for those its not a question of which is better, its a question of where are most of your friends. Still, i'd say check out trillian if you havent.

msn is terrible- microsoft adware all over my computer, and it takes up too much of the screen.
ive got aimutation, with an os x skin. its perfect.

I use AIM. Only because of volume. Everyone seems to use it and it hardly ever fusses with Trillian.

MSN isn't great, but i'll take it over AIM any day.
