Out of those 2, I'd have to say Cold Stone. Neither are really anything spectacular though.

Ben and Jerry's owns both. Never really had much Haagen Dazs though, and while Coldstone is pretty good (great if you get a mix made custom at the store. mmm), Ben and Jerry's is just so damn good.

Not that impressed with Cold Stone or the knock-offs.
My ice cream palate isn't that refined I guess. Give me Dryer's Rocky Road any time...

Jebus, I just had Cold Stone this afternoon and it was fucking awesome, so I have to go with that. Haagen Daaz Sticky Toffee Pudding ice cream is quite amazing though, particularly for an ice cream you can buy at the grocery store.

I like HD better. My wife likes Coldstone. In reality she just likes a bunch of candy, with the ice cream an unimportant delivery mechanism. I am not much of a candy fan and find the actual ice cream of Coldstone not very good.

With Cold Stone, for me anyway, the Sweet Cream ice cream is the key. The other ice cream flavours are average at best, but the Sweet Cream is fantastic and separates it from the others.

hagen daz
cold stone is overrated..i don't need my ice cream mixed by hand. premixed stuff is fine, i'm eating ice cream for the ice cream, not for bits of candy.
baskin robins is better.

Ben and Jerry's is better than both.. Also, Breyer's makes a great chocolate. But if i have to pick between those 2, H and D wins

Went into the cold stone over the weekend.. checking out the competition.. hopefully in terms of service, we'll blow them away...

they got a guy at the counter staring at you and giving you the wtf do you want look..

in the existing store, we offer unlimited samples, have 32 flavors and turn around for cake is 1 day.. and offer the standard photo cakes... if any atot wants to make "porn" pic cakes, welcome to my store.. hahaha... its in nyc though...

coldstone takes 2 days for cake.. ill update you guys when the store launchs.. march 1 hopefully.. the store front sign is being made now..

I think that Coldstone will kick your ass. While I don't like their ice cream, it is still very popular because of the candy mixing gimmick. I like H&D, but why the hell would I pay more for it at an ice cream shop when I can get it at the grocery store?

I've never had either, and I've never heard of Cold Stone.

Turkey Hill, Edy's, or store brand, whichever is cheaper.
