ThomasHP, given that in 15 hours, you haven't responded even once in this thread, and given that the exact same cut and paste text can be found in other forums, it looks less like you're genuinely interested in engaging HP product users in conversation about your products and more interested in doing simple marketing research by gathering opinions of users from various respected websites. 1. Laserjet 4000. Has served well for several years.

2. Deskjet 6980. Also served well for a couple of years.

I don't do a lot of printing. These two meet all my needs I use refilled carts, ink & toner. Both are network linked to 4 computers.
 
HP laserjet 1012
HP laserjet 1020

Both have served me well. The only thing is driver support for vista was lacking last time I checked. Don't know if new ones have been made available since then.
