I don't remember the name of it, some Alien movie. I just remember the way they killed them was by playing some song which then made their heads explode. I didn't exactly want to watch it and it scared me for quite some time after seeing it for some reason.

Freaking IT, man.

I watched that movie when I was 6 years old and had no problems with it. I don't really like clowns, but that's because they're kinda creepy 😛.

Poltergeist. While walking down the road at night I was afraid the tree's would grab me and eat me. I knew it couldn't happen, but I was always prepared.

"Earnest Scared Stupid". That troll freaked me out. And I watched movies like "The Thing" when I was 5 relatively unfazed.

My parents took me to see The Shining when I was 9 - definitely not a good idea - but what bothered me most wasn't so much the movie itself but the trailer which accompanied it. It was a red-band trailer for the movie Scanners, which featured a guy's head exploding. That kept me from getting quality sleep for weeks.

It wasn't a horror movie, but I remember being quite disturbed by a movie where a mother bear was crushed by rocks leaving its bear cub orphaned. I think it was this one meaning I was 5 at the time.

I think Invasion of the Body Snatchers probably freaked me out due to the whole sleeping thing

I saw Alien / Aliens, Predator, Terminator, etc. at a young age too but I don't think those really freaked me out. I believe I found them awesome 😛

The first Alien movie. We saw it at the drive in. I thought Dallas was going to live and had no idea that they were going to "scuttle Nostromo". Until Data showed up on Star Trek, I thought androids couldnt really be trusted after Ash tried to kill Riply. Lastly, H.R. Giger's chestbursters and facehuggers made it pretty dern scary when I was 9.

Original Friday the 13th - My first really scary movie watched with friends

Indiana Jones - Temple of Doom - Where he rips the guy's heart out (We were so freake we shut off the movie and my day took us kids outside to play ball in the yard after that)

Some movie with big-ass rabbits that attacked people. Lemurs, Lupurs, Lupus, something like that.

I remember being scared by the werewolves in "The Howling". I don't think the story of the movie had anything to do with it, the werewolf transformation scenes were just so freaky. After seeing that movie I would have nightmares where someone I was with just randomly started to transform into a werewolf. I knew that I had the time it took them to change to run away because they would be incapacitated for that period like in the movies. Somehow the head start always made it worse...
