I like LCoS TV's for their blacker than LCD blacks, no rainbow like DLP, no burn-in like plasma, and superior picture quality.

If you don't like the Sony SXRD's, take a look at the JVC HD-ILA's (both are LCoS).

I bought the Samsung a few weeks ago and the picture is fantastic. I highly recommend it!

Samsung makes great products, but they seems to be having alot of light tunnel problems with their DLP sets of some models.

This is a real nice set you may want to look into as well.

I just got that TV from BB. being delivered on the 11th. just hope its not to big LOL

edit: need to get a DVD to calabrate it

QFT

Of those two, I would choose the Sony SXRD.

I've had a Samsung HL-S50 (the 50" version) since last August and am still happy with it.

Samsung has sold a lot of these so it's not surprising that a few have problems, just like some of the Sony LCDs have dead/stuck pixels or color blobs.

Buy with a Visa that doubles warranty and you'll have 2 years not to worry about it.
