Which HD display?

I've not been following the market as of late, so I'm not sure what is the hot thing these days. What are some good displays that I should be taking a look at?

Here are some features I'm sensitive to:

50" or above
1080p native
2 or more HDMI inputs

Is the LCD versus plasma battle still raging?

The Pioneer 5010FD or 6010FD is the only thing you need to look at.

1080p
4 HDMI inputs
Reviewers claiming CRT level blacks

Here are some things people are saying...
Top-class design and peerless picture quality puts this TV right at the top of the pile
Pioneer's 8th-generation plasma is no hype... the PDP4280XD offers the best post-calibration picture quality I've seen to date.
Offers the best combination of standard and high definition performance of any flat panel.

That does look like a nice display on paper. And I haven't been able to find a bad review so far. I guess I'll have to visit BestBuy and take a look. A little more than I would like to spend, but if what everyone is claiming is true, then this display could be the one that lasts me until UHDTV.
