Which has more potential bank?

I am facing a predicament right now. Choose a job related to my field of Biomedical Eng. or a job related to my skill set which is computers/networking.

What do you guys think? Throw out some positions someone with a B.S. Biomedical Eng could take or someone with 3+ years of System and Network administration.

I feel like I could make more money with a IT job, but what do you think.

What job titles should I be looking for exactly.

the biomed industry is one of the fastest growing, is hot now and gonna get really hot 5+ years down the road. Even if the biomed job pays less than the IT job right now, it could lead to better things down the road.

biomed, one of my HS friend's mother's BF was that and he designed prosthetic limbs, made lots of money.

Not in any way comparable IMO, systems admin is a pretty low skill job next to biomedical engineer. Compare it to compsci if anything computer related.

Trying to decide on a job that has more "potential bank" is a losing proposition. Choosing a career based upon the pay you expect to receive over its duration, outside all other considerations, will eventually lead to no job satisfaction whatsoever. You'll end up hating the job and will be, in 30 years, regretting your decision, no matter the pay scale.

There's much more to life than how much your job pays. A LOT more.

Your field is biomedical engineering and you have a B.C but your skill set is IT?

You are looking for more potential bank?

There are plenty of Banks on the market. Just do some research. The banks don't care if you IT or bio engineer.

You should ask for some of the tuition money you paid to your university back. They did not teach you how to write English quite correctly.

The problem is that a lot of the higher paid biomed people are running around with Ph.D. degrees. But a B.S. in biomedical engineering is probably a good start.

Regardless of that, the biomed industry really is hot right now.

Admins in this area make between 50K and 75K starting. Plus it is much less paper work than a starting engineering position. How many of you have actually worked in the biomed sector? I can say my experiences have been less than thrilling. Can you say TPS reports.....
