never used either of the two choices, but in general the common people that I talk to school usually think their computer's performance is based on
1) their amount (or lack of) ram
2) their hard drive size (no mention of speed, just size)
3) their computer brand (dunno why everyone tells me they own a compaq when I ask them for their comp. specs)
4) Processor Name (they never know how fast it is, just whether it's a pentium 2, 3 or 4 or AMD Athlon / athlon thunderbird etc.
no one seems to know about video cards or motherboards at my school, which I can guess is to be expected.
