I have 2 choices at the moment. There's the DirectCUII version and the Twin Frozr II version. As well as the EVGA generic version. Which one is the best in terms of cooling and quietness?

Also, what's the difference between twin frozr ii and hawk?

The MSIs are a little whooshy when they heat up. It doesn't really bother me all that much, even when they're running full tilt; I've sort of learned how to tune it out. The fans have no whine to them at all, though, which is nice.

I'm happy with the Twin Frozr II, I like the dual fan design versus blower style cards. I can barely hear mine at 60% fan speed/70c temps which is the most I've seen so far on a hot day (no A/C here, ambient temp in the room 25-26ish).

The Asus DirectCU II also has great reviews, so I'd go with whichever is cheaper or has bundled games you want.

Higher factory O/C (Should be highest bin GPU's) and beefier power stages on the Hawk. Better suited to more extreme overvolting and should O/C better, all else being equal.

It's the one I would buy, if it's not out of your budget.
