Consider a better cooler if you are going to run DC on the GPU.

I wish I had!
I'll run it at really high fan, my case fan puts out somewhere from 50 to 60 dba. ( I don't have a sound meter) It's loud as heck, but I need to run it at that to get acceptable temps. 65c full load.

I'm a huge fan of EVGA, just got the 1GB GTX 650i Boost myself. Without a doubt they have the best customer service. As long as its registered and the warranty sticker isn't gone you can pretty much count on being taken care of. They will seek you out on their forums and tell you its under warranty if you are having issues and forget like I did with my GTX 275.

On the other hand a lot of the other brands I can't even find a support contact that isn't in China.

Off topic, but this is my thread. ;) What's a safe voltage for my current hd 7770? Found out how to unlock it. SHINY! 3Dguru used 1.225 on my exact model whereas stock is 1.2. And by safe I mean will not cause failure within 2 years. Temps are fine for this.

edit2: I found a thread on a different forum where a guy said "I maxed all the sliders and it works for me!" He got 1250core, 1350mem and 1.35v.

Well, as I decided not to get a 144hz monitor since I just play stuff like mc, ksp, nfs shift and etc I know have new options. Either get 2 of these and a hd 7850 or 660 or 560ti or get one and a 660ti or a hd 7950. Remember, I already have 1 1280x1024 monitor that will be for monitoring.

EDIT: Will an admin please change the thread title to "Help me choose a display/videocard setup" please?
