Hello, I would like to ask which one GTX 1070 will be the best option to choose. I have got i5-6600k in my config and I was thinking of MSI GAMING X but here it's very wanted and sellers put up it's price as... hell. Which of them would be enough for gaming, is there any big difference in performance between them and will I be able to overclock it to the same values as GAMING X or Z having good cooling set on it like Palit for example. Thank you for your help guys :)

MSI, Gigabyte, ASUS, Zotac and EVGA all make equally good cards for all practical purposes.

In the case of the 1070 you just need to avoid blower style coolers, all other cards are virtually the same in performance and overclocking. Only differences are in aesthetics and fancy features like RBG lights.

Ye but its in china :p Well, I dont wanna spend more than on MSI so ASUS is kinda expensive especially Strix. I would rather buy something with good cooling and overclock it. If I understand right the all cards are the same, just difference is between clock value assigned by manufacturer as a default value, yes? So I should look up for model with good cooling system to make it easier to overclock it. Am I right?

You pay for quality. MSI and Gainward are cheaper off brands.

Well ZOTAX has 5 years warranty... Could someone write a list from 1 to well... 6 in order which one is best and worst?

Nobody is "best". As I said there is really no big difference between any of the cards. Just buy one with a good cooling solution and you are set.

For all practical purposes yes it's correct. Factory OC models are tested to run at those speeds however it's pretty much impossible that any 1070 won't overclock to the stock speeds of the fastest factory OC cards.

You changed my life bro. Thanks for saying this. xD Ok Guys so I will go for MSI ARMOR which after OC is the best card despite the noise which is actually low or Gigabyte WINDFORCE OC according to the polish guy Lipton tests. In my Polandia country they both cost the same amount which is 500 dollars for gigabyte and msi armor. Probably the best choice is ARMOR but i'll think it over.

I'd go with EVGA since they have the best warranty. Never had an issue getting replacement cards when mine died with them, warranty carried over to the new card too.

But yeah, all cards should be able to hit whatever factory OC there is, they are usually very mild. Go with best warranty, best cooler, cheapest price.

I have chosen Gigabyte Windforce II because it has the best value for money, very good cooling which just shocked me rn when I checked the tests. Well ARMOR OC by msi is at the same price but consumes more power and is kinda noisy. TBH its hard choice between but I will go for that Gigabyte one.

I have a EVGA FTW, the colors man, THE COLORS!!! And the cooling helps too with the double ball bearings that will outlast the card itself doesnt hurt either :p

But you will pay for it, it auto boost clocks itself over 2000mhz and overclocks like a beast.

Is that true? I have an MSI GTX 1070 Armor OC, and I cannot hear it at full load over a system with slight hum (82F ambient). It sounds exactly the same as when idle. It only hits up to 63C under full load as well, with 1968Mhz clock (boost clock on GPU-Z says 1747Mhz, but never has it been below 1950Mhz in use). Does it get noisy if the fans turn up higher, and I just have a really cool case?

Can you actually give me the exact model of that EVGA?

There it be dude :)

EVGA web page on it, going over all its glory...

When you let Precision X OC take over the card, in Desktop the fans sometimes dont even spin up. Its as quiet as a mouse. And even when gaming, my Cpu cooler is louder :O
