I have a problem with my GF6800Nu... i get very low fps like 20fps when i see 3players ,lol

And i was thinking..maybe if i change the Graphic card it would be better ... so...
Here are 2 cards i can get for trading my gf6800 (AGP of course) :

XFX GF6600GT
Hercules 9800Xt 256mb

So ..which one performes better in CS:source ?

I agree. Unless your card is defective, a 6800nu will beat a 6600GT in almost every situation, and a 9800XT won't even come close...

If you are only getting 20 FPS in Counter Strike, then something is wrong with your system or your configuration. As others mentioned, memory is a good place to start.

Upgrade your memory if you don't have at least 1 GB (if possible), run a defrag on your hard drive, close ALL background applications, then try again. If you still get low frame rates, run some tests with 3DMark and see what kind of scores you get. If your scores are good there, something is wrong with your CS install/configuration. If your 3DMark scores are low, you'll need to do some additional troubleshooting on your machine as a whole (do CPU only tests such as SiSoft Sandra's CPU benchmark, run MEMTEST to check your memory, etc.) to find out the source of the problem.

Also, download and run DriverCleaner to completely remove all traces of your video card drivers then download and install a new copy of the drivers from Nvidia.

If all of this fails, then yes, I would look at replacing the video card. But if you can't confirm that the problem is actually with the card itself, then downgrading to a slower card isn't going to help...

Fardringle nailed it, he definitely knows what he's talking about. My only advice would be making sure that your fps_max in the console isn't set to something ridiculous like 35.

Good luck fixing your problem.

And btw, 6600 GT/9800 XT is a downgrade, not an upgrade.

Install the lastest nVIDIA Drives , or some Omega ones .
also download and install RivaTuner .
then run the game on 800x600 , without AA or AF .
AA and AF drop the fps .
dont get 6600gt .
if u still have some problem then unlock the 4 extra pixilpipelines , and 1 vertex shader .
here is 2Xtreme21 of how to unlock a 6800 vanila AGP 8x :

Deffective memory, maybe.

But not enough, wtf is going on with the memory crazyness. He plays CS:S, not BF2.

If you want a slight upgrade, go for the X800 Pro or XL. They are around $225-$250 and will be on par with a 6800GT, but for less money.

Guys in 3dmark 03 i get like around 100003dmarks .. but when im playing a game.. for example FAR CRY i get like 30fps in action Doom3 30fps in action HL2 :Dropes to 30

I think that the problem is in my RAm modules .. i mean i have 2X256+512 and they are all from diffrent firms (A-data ,infineon and 1 module is noname)
I have a 350W psu (chieftec)
