hi!

GTX 760 2gb or 960 2gb?

right now i have no gpu, so i wanted to buy one, specially for gta v and stuff, maybe there is any better than them for same price, tell me too, but between them two? whichs better? i have seen a lot of hate to gtx 960 but 760 is pretty old... HELP!

my pc is:
i5 4690k
8gb ram 1600mhz
650w
 
Thread belongs in VC&G. Besides that, if we are talking about right at the $200 mark the 280 is as fast but with 3gb of vram and can usually be found for slightly under that price. Personally I would spend an extra $50 and find a nice 290. Far more performance and 4gb.
 
The GTX 960 is the better card for sure, but there's been reports of memory issues. Some folks don't like the lower 128-bit bus.

If that's a concern for you, I'd probably check out the AMD Radeon R9 285 or R9 280X. Both offer comparable performance at a similar price point and have a 256-bit memory bus.
