I can get the Gigabyte Geforce2 MX or the Asus 7100 (Tv-out) for the same price. Which one is better? Any experiences??
Also, are there any reviews of these cards?
Thanks

Thanks for the reviews.

Any reviews/opinions of the Gigabyte card?

And also, do all GeForce2 MX cards have DVC?

I have a Gainward CARDEXpert and it works really well. Great 3D gaming and great 2D image quality. :)

I'd suggest the evga Geforce 2 mx. It isn't the cheapest, but people have gotten 200/200 or 220/220 fairly consistently. Three of my friends have this card, and it runs like a beaut. However IMHO, for the same price... you can get AWESOME 32 bit performance with the Radeon DDR LE. With a few tweaks.. it'll run like a normal one and it's only like $85 @ www.newegg.com now with free shipping.

I havn't seen the eVGA card in Australia.
I have seen the Gainward CardEXpert, but it a bit too pricy.
The only ones in my price range are the Gigabyte GeForce2 MX, ASUS V7100 or the Palit Daytona GeForce2 MX.
Which one has the best performance out of these?? Is there any reviews of the Gigabyte or Daytona cards??

ATI Radeon is too expensive at $340 RRP, and not many shops have them.
I am looking for something around $190 AUD.

I have an Asus V7100 and love it. I've had no problems with this card once I got the Detonator drivers installed.

I recently bought an ASUS V7100 TV. It works fine in 2D and 3D mode. ASUS drivers were fine with only one display activated but I had trouble running 3D applications with the TV activated. I switched to the detonator drivers and everything works ok. Only thing missing from the detonator drivers was the ability to switch on overscan on the TV display.

I assume that you (holdencommodore) are in Australia. I bought my card in Melbourne for AUD$199.

Yeah, I can get it for $195 from MSY Computer.
Why is the TV out version more expensive then the non TV out version????
