Always at least 2-3 ATI fanbois who have to crap on a thread.
I am sure we will get at least 2 more lamers to come in and contribute nothing to the discussion.

I would go with the gainward card imo.

I like the crazy cooler on that leadtek :D
The asus or gainward should also be very good.

Gainward. It comes with roughly the same speeds as the Ultra, at stock, and can be overclocked well (memory timed @ 2.2, up to ~900 mhz).

GJ genious, he didn't start anything, just said "Radeon 9800 Pro" and this could even be taken as a joke as I found it funny when I read the post and in actually you are the one crapping up the thread by bringing hostility to it, at least he didn't say something like "OMFG YOU AREN'T GETTIN ATI YOU ARE STUPID AND NEED TO GET A 9800!!! NVIDIA SUX!!!"

Now that I'm done puttin' down the hater, which GeForce FX 5900? Well it's always been my opinion that Gainward makes the best nVidia powered boards.

I like the MSI and the ASUS boards. To be safe, you could go with the ASUS board.

I've heard the Gainward and Leadtek are made with higher quality components than other brands, but others have stated there is no difference between cards? Can't seem to find any evidence. If the 9900 is announced in September, you will be be able to buy probably in November for $500+ USD. Yay.

gameve has the evga 5900 ultra for $279, that is a bargain compared to the ultras. get one of those, and OC to Ultra speeds

Another vote for the Gainward. I've had a GF3 and GF4 by them and both have been good overclockers and flawless.

I'm surprised I thought he gave up his mission here-Talk about a troll, the guy posts at NV News forums, in the NV Card and driver sections, guys discussing problems and his contribution- .." my 9800works great..."-just to mess with any1 who owns a Geforce.:disgust:

Small justice-I also saw him recently join Beyond3D, that place is full of technical guys who really know this stuff-anyway, 5150 jumps in a thread between 2 programmers with some inane "..ATI roxors/NV suxors.." stuff and one of the technical guys answers to joker "... do you even know what this forum is for..?" Needless to say, he hasn't bothered to join any other threads there.

LMFAO:D

That MSI card looks pretty good and it comes with a number of games also. Nice cooling solution also.

LMAO what a lie. In fact, there were two guys discussing the same point over and over with each other for several pages and finally I replied, "seriously, you guys need girlfriends" (for reference: http://www.beyond3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7225&start=200) I've never trolled, it's not my style. I always defend anything I post but it's funny you'd make up a lie in a weak attempt to discredit me, that's definitely the sign of a small brained troll like yourself.

I'm surprised Rollo "I have 2 bachelors degrees" hasn't responded yet. :D

Edit: Just noticed you have a 5900 in your rig, no wonder you're so sensitive about ATi posts that you have to resort to lying (and getting caught). Poor guy!

I have gone and "seen the light," so to speak. I figured that, hell, I'm spending $350+ on a video card that, at best, marginally beats the 9800 pro, but overall really doesn't, when I can get the 9800 pro for less. Myself, I have broken and am planning on going with the ATI, probably gonna order tomorrow, assuming my dad puts my b-day money on my card.

Shhh don't mention ATi, you'll be called a troll and lies will be made up about you to boot!

Hey, I'm not saying that the cooling does a good job, I'm just saying it looks nice :D
I don't really know which does the best job of cooling though. Keep in mind only 2 of those fans on the albatron are going at once--the same amount as on that leadtek.

Right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The original poster asks which "5900" to get. And said troll responds with 9800 Pro. If that isnt trolling then what is??????
