I think valve is releasing multithreading support when EP2 comes out, but I'm not sure.

the quake III engine had multithreading (very buggy) seta r_smp "1" turns it on.

heres a list i found on another site:

Age of Empires III

Battlefield 2

Battlefield 2: Special Forces

Black & White 2

Call of Duty 2

City of Villains by NCSoft

F.E.A.R. by Vivendi (allegedly enabled, but real world no real performance increase to FPS, tho it still performs)

Peter Jackson?s King Kong

Quake 4

Quake 5 (promised when released)

Serious Sam 2 by Croteam

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (on pre-order)

The Movies

Tom Clancy?s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter

Tom Clancy?s Rainbow Six 3

Tony Hawk?s American Wasteland

Vangauard Saga of Heros

World of Warcraft

Almost every commercial game ever made is multi-threaded, the problem is that the threads generally tend to execute in a serial fashion so you don't get any performance gains on SMP systems.

Is there really an advantage from multi-threading the games? Most of the cycles are spent rendering the graphics, which has to be done in single threaded fashion.

Now if there were games with super complex AI, I could see how that could benefit from parallelization.

Pretty much all games are multithreaded. But which will really take advantage of a 2nd core or more? Not very many at all.

Company of Heroes takes advantage of multiple cores.
