L4D, no question.

It still monopolizes my playtime even now, almost 4 months after release.


Fallout 3 was ass. If you played Oblivion, you played Fallout 3.
 
Having played the KZ2 beta, the MP is great. And the SP campaign is supposedly decent.

Fallout 3 is great, but strictly SP.

L4D is basically just MP co-op only (or play by yourself MP).

Those games are all totally different though, so it's up to your personal preference.
 
For me i'd say it depends on your mood, if you want a fast killing action day, play L4D. If you like to explore a lot places, so Fallout 3 is the game. 😛
 
Haven't played Fallout 3 yet, but will probably purchase when it comes down in price. L4D is a solid multiplayer game imo and has held my interest. There is a lot more strategy than people think and it's fun when you play with people who take it seriously.
