considering Far Cry is the only one that is actually a 'game' at this point, i'd have to vote for it.

My thoughts exactly. Out of the 3, there is only one "game" among them.

I'll have to say that since FarCry is the only game I can play right now, and it's so beautiful it makes a tear come to my eye...I'll give it my vote

doom 3. i cranked it all the way up on my 4200 and got the most beeeauuuutiful slideshow i've ever seen. ever.

from what i've seen, hl2 will have better physics, unless whoever it was that mentioned they use the same physics engine was right. that'd be hot.

Well based on those screen shots I'd have to say Doom 3. But then again... NONE of those shots were taken during actual gameplay, so it's not a very accurate representation.

I think Far Cry has set a pretty high standard for D3 and HL2... so all I can say is, they better be good. Nobody's going to be impressed by shiny water and shiny metal objects anymore...

Those shots are in game renders. So thats the character detail you'll get in the finaly game, but you wont see that particular scene.

Here is some info from X-bit on Doom 3 vs HL2: Link

Yes, this is the new part of the Doom sequel: Doom 3 game. Frankly speaking, Doom 3 developers did not sound very optimistic to me about the future of their product. They were not only uncertain about the release date, but also seem to still have a lot to work on. Compared to Half Life2, this one looks somewhat less attractive because of the indoor scenery only and the fact that all action takes place in mostly gloomy corridors and hallways. Well, Doom is a pretty well-known well settled name in the market, so they shouldn?t worry about their sales even provided that their graphics and textures are not so realistic and diverse as those of Half Life 2 or other competing products. However, in my opinion, Doom 3 loses significantly to Half Life 2 and Stalker as far as physics and realism go.

Why is there so much crap about graphics? People don't play the games for the great looks. FPS is about game play, weapon system, etc. In fact, many competition gamers use medium to low details in order to get higher frame rates. In online/LAN competitions, it's about who get more frags in 15 minutes not who has best graphics.
