Halflife 2 isn't looking great in that department. If you don't have an ATI card (9700+) or a 6800 you are kinda screwed.

I'm really only excited about D3. Even though delays happen in the industry a lot, it still hampers excitement. I learned not to keep my hopes up for it.

What always excited me about the Doom series is it's spooky atmosphere and how the world immerses us into another dimension. I can only imagine what the game will bring now with the new graphics engine. You can say the same about the new HL2 I guess, but then Ill be talking about a game that may or may not exist.

Halflife 2! You plop down $50 for HL2 and you get what should be one of the greatest single player games ever and thats just the beginning. Halflife-2 also will include Counterstrike and DoD running on the source engine. So essentialy you have a great game with the most popular multiplayer out there. Like two games in one

Both. They are pretty much totally different games and I'm waiting for both. I found their predecessors awesome at the time I played them and I hope both games prove worthy sequels.

Regardless of the lies and delays, which ever game you prefer, doom3 or HL, if your a gamer, then BOTH is the only option to have.

At 0 to 40FPS it does.... Anyway, I think I'll perfer STALKER as well, the game looks amazing. I am also amazed about Brothers in Arms. Since when is DoD going to be on the source engine? That game is just horrible.
