Which finger is longer?

Ring finger.

Also, looking at finger size (relative to your other fingers) is a popular method for women to judge a man's libido. Supposedly if your ring finger is significantly larger than your index, you have a strong libido. Same length? Normal (same length should be an option on the poll, btw). Smaller ring than index? Limp fish.

I've also heard of this being applied to women by men.
 
are you measuring actual finger length, or which one extends further? my ring finger is longer, but it starts further back so it doesnt extend as far.
 
where are you measuring from? top of the hand from the knuckle? palm of the hand from the crease?
 
My ring finger starts farther FORWARD than my index finger by around 1/4 of an inch. It is also half an inch longer. So combine those two things and my ring fingure extends about 3/4 of an inch further out than my index finger. This is for my right hand only, for my left hand they start out about the same, but the index finger is only 1/3 an inch longer, but since it starts out even, the middle finger only extends out futher by only 1/3 of an inch. So yes my hands are not the exact same shape. Not only is my index finger on my left hand shorter than on my right hand, where my middle finger starts on both hands is different too.
