Middle. The ability to have 3 commands "at your fingertips" beats vaing only 2. Because you simply cant click the mouse button AND scroll the mousehweel, whereas you can if you use all the fingers.

But really, it doesnt make much difference.

in what situation do you need to scroll and click at the same time though?

Index until I had a bad cut, severing a nerve in that finger. I lost all feeling on the underside of my index finger so I started using my middle and have been since.

Index for left/middle, middle for left MB, ring and little finger do nothing.
I can't comfortably have all 3 fingers on the mouse at the same time.

Index on left click, middle on wheel, ring on right click...

Yep, same here, except I instinctively right click with both my middle and ring together.

Index unless I'm scrolling fast, then I use both and alternate them so I can go quicker.

Explain plzthx.

Use your index and middle fingers to be legs of a person running. DO that same motion on the scroll wheel.

Middle Finger's already there. Works perfectly for me. Granted, I just tired and i can use Index and Ring fingers fairly comfortably. Just a matter of convenience.

INDEX always. I can't use the right mouse button with my ring finger, feels all goofy.

Usually index, unless I'm playing a game where I can use it more efficiently with my middle finger.
