Which filter material shoudl I get for intake filtering?

I'm modifying my current Antec Aupoer Lanboy with intake filters. Just don't know which material would be best for it since I'm pretty new to cooling. Thx for your advices.

I use foam air conditioner filter material - I use the $2.00 plastic filter frames from SVC.com to hold it. You could also use furnace filter material (the pleated sort of paper type not the fiberglass batt type) - the same plastic frame should hold that as well.
