Which File Sharing Programs Do NOT Contain Spy Ware?

Since Morpheus is now defunct, I need another file sharing program. Does WinMX have a crap-load of spyware? I woulc try Kazaa, but I hear adaware doesn't even get rid of all of its spyware.

<< I hear KaZaA also has spyware. I use WinMX, don't know if it has spyware. >>

I heard Morpheus did but Kazaa didn't

So maybe I should just wait for that new edition of Morpheus? I installed WinMX before I got Morpheus a while back and was not impressed.

well, there's always grokster...

CPU just did a listing of a bunch of p2p clients...I I can find my copy, I'll post them.

Just get Kazaa and download Ad-Aware, then get the fake dll. Gets rid of spyware in kazaa, and the fake dll makes the software work without the spyware

Tried it, didn't want to connect to any server. Uninstalled it.

How much spyware is in it?

None that I know of. It's a little different, it connects to FTP hubs and you have to share X amount of gigs depending on the server. From my experiance, people on it seem less likely to disconnect during a big d/l.

direct connect owns... as long as u are not just a computer n00b and leecher who doesnt share.. if u know how to use DC and which hubs to go to its awesome. still prefer Morpheus for divx files, but for mp3's, .shn's, programs, ISO files etc DC all the way
