this? im thinking the second because its 28CFm with only 20db!!!! with the resistor connected. what do you guys think? i need answers fast, cuz im gonna order soon. thanks.

Where do you put the resistor? And with the resistor connected how do you keep it from making the fan turn faster...thus increasing the dBA? I assume you'd have to keep your case pretty cool for the resistor to keep from turning the fan up. Seems like kind of a Catch-22. You might want to check out the Vantec fans at SVC. They seem pretty good (27CFM / 21dBA) at a decent price.
