I have MS Encarta Reference 2002 on DVD which loads happily on MS XP Pro but will not on NT Workstation 4. Can anyone recommend a reference or encyclopedia that can run on NT 4 which is not too out-of-date?
You could try brittanica on CD or DVD or maybe an older version of Encarda (i could have swore the older version of encarda worded on NT...... oh.... i also heard the library has this thing called "The World Book"..... you could also check that out 😀 (sorry for the smart @ss comment but I couldn't resist 😉)
My Encarta Reference 2002 came up with an expiry notice at the start of this year. This means that I can no longer get updates over the internet. If I buy an older version then the same would apply I suppose.
