For students who wish to pursue a Masters

anyone have a list or know which companies usually pays for their employees to pursue further education

I would guess that a lot of companies do this. The company for which I work will pay at least 80% of graduate program tuition as long as it is somehow related to the work I do.

I was hoping for a good list but I suppose it's the majority of the companies... hopefully I find the right employer

Mine has tuition reimbursement which paid for approx. 1/2 of my graduate degree. However, after graduating my employer has decided not to recognize my degree.

cisco and ibm do i know for sure, i would think most of the BIG computer parts distributors (i.e. microsoft, intel, amd, oracle)
NSA, CIA if you make it through their recruiting/training process
MY company even though were really small (under 50 employees) does tution reimbusement up to a certain ammount.

If you want to get your masters, mention it in the interview. Chances are they'll ask for your short/long term goals, so tell them you'd like to pursue your masters degree.

At that time, they may mention that they'll help you pay for it. If not, you'll generally see such benefits in any offer letter you get from the company.

Almost all engineering companies will reimburse all of your tuition and other fees. In fact where I worked, they'll pay for ANY type of education. If you're an EE and you want to take morturary science classes at a nearby college, they'll pay for it no questions asked. Of course, you have to be working fulltime while going to school. I've not heard of a single engineering company that will pay for you to go to school fulltime.

mine has a program that will pay full tution and half salary so you can go full time, however you have to stay with the company for a couple years afterwards, and they wont recognize the degree (ie give you a pay increase commisurate). that program is tough as hell to get into.
