Which drivers should I use?

I have a 3d prophet ddr-dvi overclocked to 155/360 with my guillemot drivers. I get around the low 6000, high 5000 range in 3dmark 2000. My question is if I get the latest detonator drivers versus the guillemot drivers, which would score better in 3d mark? I run the default test for it. I do have the latest guillemot drivers.

And, if I get the detonator drivers, does it have a built in overclocker or would I have to download something or change something to be able to overclock to where I am at now?

Would i be able to overclock more with the detonator drivers? I am thinking not, but who knows.

Would drivers have anything to do with my ability not to run at agp bus speeds higher than 81 mhz?

I would use the Guillemot drivers if you use the tv-out, otherwise get the 6.31 detonators and use coolbits to add the hardware options tab in the display properties section of your drivers.

An extra note, the reference drivers from Nvidia will let you overclock just like the Guillemot drivers will.

I dont use the tv-out at all. That's what i have my ATI card for 🙂

Can someone give me a link to coolbits and/or the latest detonoator drivers? I have no idea where to get them from.

Heck yea, the detonator drivers raised my scores from a measly 6000 or 5900 to a nice 6300. I love my card. I just made my friend with a gts mad since he is only like 500 points above me.

For what it's worth, I don't know about the DDR but I've got a Hercules Geforce2 MX and I actually sat down and tried a bunch of Detonator drivers, then ran the 3dmark200 benchmark under default @ 1024x768 after each driver install with no tweaking and with vsync and antialisaing on I found the following resluts.

I am going to be using the 627 drivers, as far as stability goes I haven't had any problems and they are no doubt the fastest for my system. I haven't tried the 634 drivers.

robisc- Have you ever overclocked that card? I think it will help a lot with those "low" scores. The gf2mx should be doing close to a gf256.

Syborg1211 yeah, it's OCed now at 215/210, and 3DMark is now 4934, a lot better but compared to others it should be a little better, but there has to be a line drawn somewhere right, I mean I am almost at 5000 3DMark and can play any game I throw at it yet we still want more, faster, faster, OH the sanity of it all, maybe I should use nitrous on this thing.
