I have a ATI HD2600XT (PCI-E) that I want to use with W2K3 (32-bit). ATI's download configuration utility doesn't show drivers for W2K3. I was thinking the drivers for XP should work but want to be sure. Can anyone help?
Have you tried Windows Update? Those drivers probably havent been updated in years. You can also search the AMD website for Windows 2000 and find some links.
That's what I was thinking too, Bateluer. I know the card will work with the default Windows drivers, but I don't think the default VGA driver in W2K3 will scale up to 19x12 which is what I need for my monitor. Thanks.
Download XP driver, run to extract the driver files, cancel out of the installer (it will terminate with unsupported OS message), then manually install the drivers using the "update driver" feature from Device Manager.
